PBC Awareness: A Revolutionary Force in PBC Education & Advocacy

PBC Awareness, NFP is emerging as a transformative organization dedicated to serving those affected by Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) in the United States. The National Institutes of Health reports that there’s an estimated 130,000 people in the United States that have Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC).
 We aim to address the growing challenges and unmet needs within the PBC community, filling a critical void by providing specialized support, education, and advocacy for U.S. patients.

PBC Awareness, NFP will be a beacon of hope and an information resource for the U.S. PBC community, fostering awareness and improved quality of life through experience, compassion and knowledge/education.

MISSION

PBC Awareness, NFP's mission is to improve the lives of those affected by PBC through comprehensive support, education, and advocacy specific to the US.
- improve overall patient experience and quality of life
- develop a comprehensive PBC toolkit for patients as well as their families, support networks, and healthcare professionals
- promote and implement change in the approach to PBC care, treatment, education, resources and support
- share successful applications, programs and projects with other PBC and liver patient support advocacy groups and individuals worldwide.
